Expanding his horizons to establish his own label in 2007, the exceptionally gifted winemaker Benjamin Leroux has honed his craft under the prestigious tutelage of Domaine Comte Armand in the heart of Burgundy. Leroux's journey began at a remarkable age, as he initiated his wine studies in Beaune at the tender age of 13. His remarkable trajectory led him to the pivotal role of manager at Domaine Comte Armand by the age of 26, a position he continues to hold while successfully running his own eponymous label.
Drawing inspiration from both his personal vineyard holdings and meticulously sourced fruit from select growers, Leroux masterfully produces an extensive range of small-batch Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines from a variety of appellations throughout the enchanting Côte-d'Or. Notably, more than half of the vineyards Leroux works with adhere to organic or biodynamic farming practices, and none bear the influence of herbicides or pesticides. A symbiotic relationship between Leroux and his growers underscores his commitment to meticulously overseeing crucial factors such as low yields and optimal ripeness levels.
Widely regarded among his peers in the Burgundy winemaking community, Benjamin Leroux is hailed as one of the region's most influential and celebrated vintners.
