60 years ago, Pablo Pérez and Mariana Cruz discovered the perfect place to create what would soon be the Pérez Cruz Viña, on the southern bank of the Maipo Valley at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Where they found a privileged space in the Chilean countryside, full of tradition and geographical value, since the slopes located at high altitudes where they perched had thousands of years of rock formations and earthworks under their feet that made it unique, a stony and clayey soil that is complex to cultivate, rich in minerals and privileged in its Mediterranean climate.
