Our shared mission is to reveal the unique character of our vineyards and the extraordinary qualities of the Mendoza terroir.

This partnership, Viñedos y Bodega Mendel, is the result of Roberto de la Mota, a winemaker who humorously claims to have been "born in a winery" due to his lifelong immersion in winemaking, nurtured under the guidance of his father, the renowned Argentine winemaker Don Raúl de la Mota. Roberto's journey began long before his formal studies at the National University of Cuyo, evolving through hands-on experience.

After completing his education in Montpellier, France, and managing one of the country's most prominent wineries, Roberto fulfilled his dream of establishing his winery in 2002 with Mendel Wines.
