Domaine Ballot-Millot et Fils holds a prestigious position as a renowned wine producer, situated in the charming town of Meursault, nestled within the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy's revered Côte d'Or heartland. This esteemed estate has a rich history dating back to the 18th Century, passing through generations of the Ballot-Millot families. Today, the estate is under the capable stewardship of Charles Ballot, who assumed control in 2000.
A Testament to Terroir: Vineyard Holdings
Encompassing a sprawling expanse of vineyard holdings, Domaine Ballot-Millot et Fils proudly cultivates over 10 hectares (25 acres) of land, with a significant focus on the local mainstays of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Among these holdings, a remarkable eight hectares (20 acres) are dedicated to the cultivation of Chardonnay, with plots gracing both Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. The remaining two hectares (five acres) are meticulously dedicated to the cultivation of Pinot Noir, located in the esteemed communes of Pommard, Volnay, and Beaune to the north.
Notably, the estate also boasts a half-hectare (just over one acre) of Aligoté, further showcasing the winery's commitment to exploring and celebrating the diverse range of Burgundian grape varietals.

The labels crafted by Domaine Ballot-Millot et Fils proudly bear the distinction of premier cru vineyards, signifying the exceptional quality and character of their wines.
