Family history:
In 1959, at the age of 50, Pierre PAPIN acquired Château Pierre-Bise in the Pays de la Loire.
As early as 1976, the link with Samabiol (the first organic products company at that time) made it possible to understand trophobiosis (an approach by researcher Francis Chaboussou showing that the health of plants depends on their dietary balance).
Finally, with the takeover of new plots, particularly on La Roche-aux-Moines, in 2004 under the current generation, the vineyard reaches its current area of 45 ha.
