Description

It tastes similar to the China Terrace release of the same vintage, though this School House wine is more structured and tannic. Which in my eyes makes it a better wine straight up. Stewed fruits and chalk, cedary oak and cherries. Not what you would call a ‘defined’ pinot noir, but the quality is decent. Lovely acidity. Lovely tannin. Just enough fruit. Not enough brightness or length.
