Softwood frames wonderfully fresh, airy, perfumed and beautifully complex aromas of red currant, warm earth, stone, crushed herbs and spice hints that exhibit just a hint of secondary development. The excellent depth of the nose continues onto the equally cool and brilliantly refined mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavours that possess an outstanding depth of material and stunning length on the linear, focused and powerful finish. I would further note that this was quite closed at first and benefited enormously from the aeration. In sum, this is a strikingly beautiful CSJ that should live for a very long time.
