Sylvain Cathiard & Fils Chambolle-Musigny Les Clos De L'Orme 2014

There is enough reduction present to render evaluating the nose impossible. The cool, pure and restrained middle-weight flavours exude a fine bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the dense yet refined mouth feel before a hint of bitter cherry arrives on the defined and lingering finish. This will need to add a bit of depth but if it does it could very well be terrific Chambolle villages. Note that this should be approachable after only 4 to 5 years if desired.
