Aldo Conterno Barolo Bussia Cicala DOCG 2015

The 2015 Barolo Cicala is an attractive wine if taken on its own terms. Light in both colour and body, the 2015 is pretty but not especially typical nor expressive of this Monforte site. Sweet dried cherry, crushed flowers, cedar, licorice, and white pepper add bright aromatic top notes. In 2015, vintage dominates over site character.
