Dark and ample in the glass, the 2015 Barolo Romirasco is the most complete of the three Aldo Conterno Barolos I tasted. Black cherry, sage, menthol, licorice, tar, and a host of balsamic accents open up in the glass. The 2015 is deep and expressive, with lovely inner perfume and fine persistence. This is a strong showing from the Conterno brothers.
