An overtly exotic and ripe nose exhibits plenty of spice elements that add breadth to the liqueur-like aromas of various white orchard fruit, tangerine peel and an interesting hint of Viognier. The mouth feel of the powerful broad-shouldered flavours is opulent to the point of being almost creamy, indeed the word oily comes to mind, all wrapped in a palate-coating finish. The description makes the '15 Criots sound heavy and while it's certainly exceptionally rich, this is not over the top.
