Bouchard Père & Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2015
This is perhaps the freshest wine in the range and the least marked by the high ripeness of the vintage with its wonderfully pure nose of citrus elements that combine with floral and green apple scents. There is fine intensity to the muscular, dense and powerful broad-shouldered flavours that even manage to display a certain refinement on the sleek, dry and wonderfully long finish. Good stuff and while I wouldn't describe this as a classic in style, it still offers much to like.
