The 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé comes from 2.7 hectares of vines around Solutré with one future premier cru (once the classification becomes official). It has a fragrant bouquet with honeysuckle and light chalky aromas, quite elegant although I would be seeking just a little more precision. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and hints of lime and green apple, pretty rather than powerful with a touch of bitter lemon enlivening the finish.
