Seghesio Barolo DOCG 2016

Fragrant and spicy, a sort of Campari aromatic too, along with cherry and red fruit, and some liquorice root. It’s full-bodied but clear and fresh, with poached strawberry and cherry, a slightly chalky/brick dust feel to the tannin, and amaro herbs on a long and bright finish. Charismatic, and very good in 2016.
