Shafer Relentless Syrah 2017

The 2018 Relentless is a wine of immense promise. Aromatically intense and vibrant, the 2018 is built on serious energy. The most varietally expressive of the three Syrahs I tasted, this 2018 has great energy and tension. Super ripe blue and purplish fruit, black pepper, menthol, and licorice infuse the 2018 with layers of depth and complexity. This is such a promising wine.
