Ripe and appealingly fresh aromas are comprised of notes of citrus, white peach, shellfish and a whisper of iodine along with a deft application of wood. There is once again a very solid volume to the more finely textured flavours that possess very good verve before concluding in a refreshing bitter lemon-inflected finish. This promising and relatively powerful effort should reward up to a decade of cellaring.
