Livio Sassetti Pertimali Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2018

Cherry, strawberry, rose oil, licorice and coffee beans. Medium-bodied, gentle earthy with, again, that coffee bean character, balanced acidity, a sweep of fine sooty tannin, hazelnuts too, and more nut skin tannin playing out on a nice long finish. Expressive fruit and an earthiness that’s so appealing. Top shelf RdM here, and a lovely thing to drink.
