After introducing ageing in 90hL oak vessels in 2016 instead of stainless steel, this Nebbiolo breathes its authenticity. Leather, olives, earthy strawberry and violet highlight the great intensity and complexity in this extremely pale ruby-coloured Langhe Nebbiolo. It reflects pretty well the vintage, not without a meaty character suggestive of a savoury finish. Floral in depth with cherry and liquorice flavours, the palate shows fruit concentration over firm yet ripe tannins and graceful acidity. Definitely Barolo's little brother.
