Description
Spice and cloves, peat and dark cherries. Quite sappy, but toasty too, powdery tannin, sour cherry and game meat, cool acidity with a bit of a ‘mineral’ feel, and a sooty coal-like finish. Interesting wine. Cooler vintage feels and is a bit wild, but it's good.
