This is sweet at its heart and soft and lush. It’s silky textured, generous in a way, and has some nice tightening tannins and a brisk, tart finish for freshness. Mixed forest berries, that kind of heady, sweet woody spice thing, a bit of apricot, and, certainly a slickness and sweetness mid-palate that says something about the white grape viognier. Easy drinking, enough structure to take you to level 2.
