Has this cherry jam, slightly medicinal thing going on, but none of that troubles as it’s all juicy gravy good times and has a pretty and fresh vibe with drinkability riding high. Woody spice, not oak, but stems and undergrowth and such, play a part in the flavours here. So too does a kind of meaty, game-like quality. It rolls around the palate softly, broad, lush in a way, but vibrant. Hedonistic but kind of loose and free. Moreish in the definitive sense – compels you to drink more. Not a fine, preened version of grenache, but so much mojo and individuality.
Zero sulphur natural Grenache, supremely light and delicious.
