Nocturne SR Chardonnay 2020

Ripe lime, popcorn, a little struck match, sizzled sage butter, and spice. A slightly gluggy and glossy feel, tangy acidity, grapefruit, and buttered popcorn, a sheath of flavour with a zesty core, though all up, feels a little brassy and overt, arms and legs, flinty and spicy, with a bold and showy finish that’s just a bit too brazen and unsettled.
