Nestled in the medieval village of Castagnoli, near Gaiole in Chianti, the heart of the Chianti Classico region, the historic site of L’Antica Fornace (the ancient kiln) tells a tale dating back to the 16th century, when a wealthy Florentine family erected this architectural gem. Changing hands over the centuries, the site found its way to the visionary Loris Cantalici in 1972.
In the late 1990s, brothers Carlo and Daniele embarked on a winemaking journey, cherishing the historic Fornace as they seamlessly integrated it into their estate.
