"The 30-acre estate, owned by the same family since the 19th century, is on one of the gravel outcrops that indicate quality in the Médoc. This wine has ripe berry fruits, rich tannins and a juicy, smoky character that makes it a classic. Drink from 2021. Roger Voss" - 91/100, Wine Enthusiast
Dense inky core with a purple hue. Roasted nose offering new oak, coffee bean, dark plum, cherry and black currant notes. Nice palate, rather full but polished texture, young grainy tannins, fine oak and butterscotch notes, fresh berry fruit, cassis and a mild spiciness with a long lingering finish. Still young but a fine potential.
