Planted by Tasmanian pioneer Dr Andrew Pirie in 1998, Bird vineyard is a 100% Clone 114 Pinot Noir vineyard in the Pipers River region in the north east of Tasmania. Bird is the most elegant and ethereal of the Chatto 2023 release. The ‘gateway Pinot’ as it is fondly called.

Chicken and Turkey
Flowering basil, red cherry, poached strawberry and crunchy red fruits laced with super aromatic spice.
Frisky, bright, pumice stone. A light wine, kind of frisky and bright, a light pumice stone grip to tannin, has some orange juice flavour in the mix, and some almond cake.
