Description

Grace Madeline is the name of Diana Madeline’s mother, who was born in London in 1895 and died in Tasmania in 1963. She was an inspirational suffragette and nature photographer. This wine is made from 100% Cullen Vineyard sauvignon blanc and semillon vines planted in 1976-1988. The vines are planted on their own roots and are certified biodynamic and carbon neutral.

Grace Madeline is Diana Madeline’s mother and Vanya Cullen’s maternal grand-mother. This wine named in her honour is a blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc and 33% Semillon.

The 2021 vintage was cooler than previous years creating greater aromatics. Once harvested the grapes are simply crushed to stainless steel and oak with over night skin contact. Barrel-aged for 5 months in 72% new oak.
