AT FIRST SIP- Lavender shrub, blue plums and crunchy red cherries. There’s a certain flashy vibrancy to the fruit on the palate, accompanied by toasty oak depth. Tannins are firm and keep everything running in the same direction. Lovely now and will continue a delicious ride for another 5 years. AFTER A FEW- unequivocally Otago but perhaps not as you know it, this is the new wave and would be nirvana with five spice duck.
