Domaine Sainte Marie Tradition Rosé 2023
This Rose is made from a blend of certified organic and biodynamic Cinsault (40%), Grenache (40%), Tiburen (5%), Carignan (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) grapes.
The lands of the Domaine then belonged to the Monastère de la Verne, located a little higher in the Massif des Maures. In 1884, a terrible Cholera epidemic falls on the region and miraculously stops on our field. The inhabitants of the hamlet decided to build a statue of the Virgin Mary to thank her. Even today, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and oaks, the statue of the virgin leaves almost affectionately his benevolence on the estate and its buildings.
Several generations of winemakers have followed one another to highlight this terroir and produce high quality wines. In 2007, the Duburcq family acquired the estate and has since managed it.
This wine will go perfectly with tuna or aromatic salads.
Very pale salmon pink colour. Alluring peach, strawberry and raspberry scents show plenty of elevation out of the glass with hints of blood orange and stony mineral notes also evident.
Slipping across the palate with a silky feel are delicious peach, strawberry, raspberry, water melon and delicate spice flavours. Some wet stone characters lie underneath. Fresh acidity finishing dry, long and beautifully shaped. Highly moreish.
