Description

Established by William Fevre in 1957, the domaine has flourished into one of Chablis's premier estates, boasting an expansive 78 hectares of esteemed vineyards. Among these, 15.9 hectares are designated as Premiers Crus, and 15.2 hectares as Grand Crus.

Crafted from carefully selected fruit acquired from various growers, this Petit Chablis underwent maturation in stainless steel vats for 8-10 months, meticulously preserving its inherent freshness. Directly sourced from William Fevre's cellars, this wine is currently showcasing exceptional qualities, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a bottle-aged Chablis in impeccable condition.

Displaying a brilliant pale straw hue with delicate straw-tinged edges and a glistening watery core, the wine entices with an aromatic symphony. Elevated notes of pear and lime dance gracefully with nuances of gun flint, followed by subtle hints of dried honey, quince, and oyster shell. On the palate, the wine retains its remarkable freshness while evolving a textural depth courtesy of its extended bottle aging. Abundant flavors of pear and lime dominate, complemented by a backdrop of oyster shell, nuanced dried honey, and hints of gun flint. The finish is crisp and dry, underscored by invigorating acidity, with lingering echoes of roasted almond gracefully emerging on the enduring aftertaste.
