Our Land’s Edge Pinot Noir is sourced from two Estate owned Vineyards: our Far Coast Vineyard and our Estate owned Seascape Vineyard. These vineyards are located high on the Sonoma Coast Ridges that run along the "land's edge" and the Pacific Ocean. We also make single vineyard designated wines from each of the Far Coast and Seascape Vineyards. The Far Coast Vineyard is the predominant component of Land’s Edge – typically making up 90% or more of the blend. We find that the Far Coast part of the blend brings Mocha notes to the nose, and a deep black cherry profile while the Seascape Vineyard part of the blend adds savory notes along with hints of salinity to the Land’s Edge Vineyards cuvee.
A maraschino cherry aroma and delicious cherry-pie flavors give a lot of fruity vibrancy to this full-bodied but lightly tannic wine. The focus and purity of red and black cherries is wonderful to taste.
