Nestled within Watervale, a subregion of Clare Valley renowned for its classic Rieslings, lies a vineyard perched 390-400 meters above sea level. Here, the high altitude and cooling breezes from Gulf St Vincent bestow upon the grapes an extended ripening period crucial for crafting exceptional Rieslings.
From the bountiful 2023 vintage emerges the HATCH Watervale Riesling, a testament to the region's prowess. Cold fermentation in meticulously controlled stainless steel tanks has preserved the fruit's intense yet delicate flavors. This elegantly fragrant Riesling delights the senses with subtle hints of lime zest and orange blossom.
