Anchored in the Chablis soil for 6 generations the Moreau family is today one of the most highly esteemed wine proprietors thanks to their quality wines from vineyards in the most prestigious appellations. No oak is used in their wine, either during vinification or in aging, so is a typical example of fine Chablis.
Green apple character dominates the palate with some flinty, slightly smoky notes on the finish. A Chablis where the overall balance is very appealing and complex.
This has vivid citrus fruit, with some yellow plum richness. This shows good concentration and weight with a lovely mineral undercurrent. Good acidity. Lovely stuff.
