The 2014 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes from 0.31 hectares of 35-year-old vines. It has a pretty, very pure raspberry and maraschino cherry nose, nicely detailed with good intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, the acidity well judged, rounded in the mouth with a touch of white pepper spicing up the satisfying finish. This comes recommended - a very well-crafted village cru punching above its weight.
