This is a pretty amazing wine. The fruit has such power; the style brings such complexity. Flint, tinned peaches, smoked cedarwood and ginger-like notes roll into almonds and butter. It’s zesty and energetic, lemony even, but there’s so much going on, and it feels so convincing. A warning: the flint/struck match notes here are overt. But it’s a pretty special wine
