Description

AN ABSOLUTELY CHARMING CHARDONNAY - GREAT VALUE

Patrick Sullivan's renowned expertise in crafting exceptional Australian Chardonnay finds an accessible expression in this attractively priced, entry-level Pat Sullivan wine, providing a top-value opportunity to savor his sensational stylings with the variety.

In this inaugural release, the wine pays homage to the volcanic soils of Southern Australia, achieving a delightful equilibrium between richness, well-defined fruit, and a distinctive minerality derived from the unique terroir. Nestled along Australia's limestone coast, a region boasting the world's third-largest volcanic plain with around 400 dormant volcanoes, the vineyards contribute to the wine's character in ways that surprise and delight.

Pat's profound connection to this region, shaped by his childhood experiences, infuses him with boundless enthusiasm as he presents this modern and compelling representation of Australian Chardonnay. It's an invitation to discover the depths of flavor and history that make each sip a testament to both craftsmanship and terroir.

The fruit is whole cluster crushed, pressed then drained off into tank for settling. Primary fermentation takes place in barrique and tank with approx. 15% new oak used.
