The Clos des Varoilles monopole is an impressive 6 hectare holding that has been purchased by Domaine Prieure Roch. The plot is in the northern part of Gevrey in the combe Lavaux. The southern end is protected from the heat & gives a wine of great freshness and finesse along with the aromatics of wild herb & game. The vineyard had a history which dates to the thirteenth century and is an exciting addition to the Domaine.
