Introducing the extraordinary RSRV by Maison Mumm Cuvée Lalou 2008, a champagne of legendary stature meticulously crafted from the finest 100% Grand Cru wines. Exclusively sourced from the esteemed Maison Mumm vineyards, renowned for their historic and emblematic plots, this cuvée is a true testament to the artistry of champagne-making.
In the creation of RSRV Lalou 2008, only the most exceptional grapes from the Maison Mumm vineyard were chosen. Among the twelve distinct plots, each boasting its unique character, seven were carefully selected for the exquisite blend of this remarkable champagne. Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, perfectly balanced in equal measure, contribute to the remarkable depth and complexity of RSRV Lalou 2008. The chosen plots include Les Bionnes, Les Crupots, Les Briquettes, Les Perthes, Hannepés, Les Rochers, and Les Houles, each imparting their individual charm to the final blend.
Pale golden yellow, silver reflections, fine, persistent mousse. Fine pear fruit underlaid with a hint of bourbon vanilla, white almonds and biscuit, a hint of mango, and candied orange zest. Complex, juicy fresh tropical fruit, delicately reminiscent of ringlets, silky texture, lively structure, lemony-salty nuances on the finish, a firm food companion with aging potential.
