In order to clarify the origin of our different localities, our wine is called Monts de Vertus. It is composed solely of Chardonnay, from our vines which are over 50 years old, located in the middle of a hillside of chalky topsoil, which produces wines to be kept, with their very pure, mineral and saline style. Open this bottle when you want to experience an unforgettable moment.
The picturesque village of Vertus is renowned for its Chardonnay. Here, on the undulating slopes of the Côte des Blancs, where the sun-kissed southern exposure is a valuable asset, Veuve Fourny crafts a pristine and sculpted style of Champagne. This exceptional terroir, marked by pure chalk soils and meticulous barrel aging, yields a Champagne that exudes unmistakable freshness and finesse, harmoniously balanced with nutty opulence and a delicate, creamy texture—a testament to the influence of terroir, meticulous aging, and a patient five-year resting period on its lees. Savor the brilliance of this Champagne today and for years to come.
Matured gracefully for a minimum of 5 years, resting on lees within the temperature-controlled confines of our 19th-century cellars.
