The summer was characterized by dry conditions and abundant sunshine during the day, complemented by the cool nights typical of Marlborough. Optimal yields were achieved, and the stable autumn weather afforded us the opportunity to extend the hangtime of the fruit on the vines, ensuring the attainment of physiological ripeness.
The Private Bin Pinot Noir is meticulously crafted from a blend of select vineyards situated in the Awatere and Wairau Valleys. The diverse soil types and meso-climates inherent to these regions contribute distinct tannin structures, flavors, and aromas, enriching the complexity of the wine.
