Domaine Confuron-Cotétidot, established in 1964, is a family-owned winery located in Burgundy’s prestigious Côte de Nuits region. The estate spans approximately 12 hectares, with vineyards in some of Burgundy's most renowned appellations, including Nuits-St-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin. This esteemed domaine has earned a reputation for producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region, blending traditional winemaking practices with a deep respect for the land. Unlike many of their peers, the estate has never used synthetic herbicides or pesticides, instead opting for traditional farming practices such as regular plowing and short pruning to maintain low yields. In addition, the Confuron family has developed their own unique Pinot Noir clone, “Pinot Confuron,” through a process called sélection massale, further enhancing the quality and distinctiveness of their wines.
