A hint of matchstick character doesn't materially impede the expressiveness of the elegant, ripe and airy aromas of citrus, wet stone and white floral scents. Once again there is excellent intensity and drive to the middle weight plus flavours that possess terrific mid-palate concentration along with plenty of the hallmark minerality, all wrapped in a hugely long finish. Like the Bâtard this will need an extended stay in a cool cellar to further develop the overall depth though again, everything is in place for this to occur.
