There is enough reduction to render all the aromas unreadable save for hints of floral character. Otherwise, there is excellent volume to the round, plump and delicious flavours that possess a lovely sense of vibrancy, all wrapped in a firm, rustic and sneaky long finish. The tannins are notably grippy and this too is going to require at least some bottle age first if not quite so long as the Clos de la Roche.
