The 2016 Bourgogne Rouge Terres de Famille includes some declassified village crus, including red Beaune and young vines from Clos de Thorey, Volnay and Evocelles. It has a pretty bouquet of red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit. The palate is taut on the entry, fresh and tart with a tang of orange rind mixing with the ferrous red fruit on the finish.
