Here the slightly riper nose reflects exotic fruit aromas that include notes of mango, passion fruit and white peach that are trimmed in notes of petrol, quinine and shellfish. There is even better density to the sappy dry extract-rich big-bodied flavours that flash good power if perhaps a bit less minerality on the wonderfully textured, long and well-balanced finale. This isn't quite as structured as the regular cuvée and should be approachable after only 4 to 5 years of cellaring.
