Alea is the ‘off dry’ riesling from Grosset. This one feels dryer than any I have had before.
It’s a fleshy, fleshy feel though the core is pulverised rock and mineral water to counterbalance. Pear, nectarine, and some cucumber in tonic water in it too. Slurpy kind of feel with big appeal, and a good sense of freshness. It’s a little looser knit, broad in its roll around the palate, but has easy appeal.
