Description

The Cavallotto Barolo Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe Magnum 1.5L 2016 is a certified organic wine that is made using traditional methods. The grapes are fully destemmed, and only indigenous yeasts are used during fermentation. The wine is fermented in horizontal tanks at a controlled temperature of 29°C with semi-submerged caps, allowing for a total maceration time of 28 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in cement tanks during the springtime following the harvest.

The wine is produced from grapes grown in a 2.4-hectare plot of land on a beautiful ridge in Castiglione Falletto. The vines face southwest and are 60 years old, making for a rich and complex flavour profile. The wine has a perfect balance of dark fruit, dried cherry, wild plum, rose, and iron ore flavours, creating a beautiful sense of inner energy.

The magnum is a double-sized bottle, which means it holds 1.5 litres of wine, twice the amount of a regular bottle. The larger size allows for a slower and more controlled aging process, which results in a more complex and harmonious wine. The magnum bottle also has a larger neck and cork, which helps to maintain the wine's freshness and prevent oxidation.

Overall, the Cavallotto Barolo Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe Magnum 1.5L 2016 is a wine of exceptional quality, made with care and attention to detail.
