Review

An exceptional aged release, showcasing the kaleidoscope of buttered toast, lemon curd, cumquat, and talc of regional Semillon as it transitions from adolescence to the cusp of adulthood. It jitterbugs across the mouth. Febrile, is intensely flavoured, despite the overall delicacy and long finish. The only caveat is the brittle acidity. Further age should tone this.

Tasting Profile

Nose
The wine still displays some fresh citrus and lime characters but is beginning to show more subtle developed qualities of honey and toast.
Palate
Starting to display some of the complexities of an aged Semillon; nice citrus characters combine with some toast and honey to come through on the palate. Excellent acidity, which is in balance, adds to a good length of flavour.
