Giacosa Fratelli Barbera d’Alba Bussia DOC 2022
Nestled within the esteemed sub-area of Bussia on the grounds of Cascina Canavere in Monforte d'Alba, the beating heart of Barolo production, our vineyards boast a strategic south-east orientation and meticulous guyot cultivation. Organically nurtured in soils rich in marine sedimentation and marlstone infused with iron, these hand-harvested grapes undergo a 30-day skin-on fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a refined aging process in large casks (60hl) for 8-12 months. This exceptional wine, crafted with precision, has the potential to gracefully mature over several years.
Diam cork.
A perfect match with legume soups, roasted or braised meats, pork, poultry or spicy cheeses.
Intense ruby red in color. The subtle oak aging enhances the complexity while maintaining fruity aromas of black currant and berries with notes of spice and tobacco.
Balanced and expressive with great acidity.
