Grosset Apiana Fiano 2022

This fragrant variety is proving to be equally at home in the Clare Valley as it has been in Southern Italy. It is gently restrained on the nose with hints of orange and almond blossom and some honey notes. The palate, on the other hand, shows marvellous viscosity with its power and weight adding a dimension to the wine, characters which can in part, be attributed to the inclusion of a rare fiano clone.
