About this Wine: The fruit for this wine comes from the Suma Park Vineyard on the Bellarine Peninsula yielding just 1.5 tonne/acre and a small portion from the Yan Yan Gurt vineyard on the western side of Geelong, a fantastically cold part of the region.
About the Winery: There are few tales as impressive as that of Lethbridge Wines. Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis were both successful medical researchers before succumbing to their desire to create a vineyard and winery in Geelong. They planted vines on their own rootstocks, built a straw-bale winery and house, and farmed the land according to biodynamic beliefs. Their wines are powerful, structured, pure and long-lived.
Melds beautifully on the palate with quince, grilled nuts and mandarin rind. Harmonious oak. Quite the complex number for a wine so young.
